LoeschPack developed the world`s most modern fold wrapping machine for chocolate tablets and bars

New LTM-DUO front plate design

The third generation of the LTM-DUO twin-stationed fold wrapping machine for chocolate bars incorporates major new developments. An entirely new machine concept developed on the basis of comprehensive, long standing expertise - Loesch has been building fold wrapping machines for chocolate bars since 1919.

The new concept is characterized by a consistent front plate design and the strict separation of the drive and product feed sections. This enables a high degree of hygiene while the operator has optimum access to the whole work area in front of him/her.

The new twin-stationed fold wrapping machines from LoeschPack provide a high degree of flexibility for especially high quality types of chocolate product packaging. A wide variety of fold types can be achieved with up to three types of wrapping materials. The standard fold types used are envelope folding, sleeve folding, and cube folding, for chocolate bars, for example, in aluminum and paper or cardboard, as well as smaller articles with outer wrapping from the label magazine. Up to 200 bars/min are packaged with the machine in single line mode.

Optimum product protection is achieved by sealing the inner wrap, comparable with pillow bag wrapping. And this at a high performance level of 180 bars/min.

Special packaging shapes enable perfect product presentation. A wide variety of packaging types can be used, together with packaging extras such as reinforcement cardboard or inserts. Combined packaging materials for special opening mechanisms add a special feature to the product presentation. The special closure types for the outer cardboard wrapping with a long opening flap like an envelope make it possible for the bar to be removed like a letter. Double bars open up greater sales opportunities.

Almost every kind and shape of bar, smaller articles or multipacks can be packaged. Bars with ingredients such as whole nuts, for example, can be packaged especially carefully and with greater capacity due to the new, continuous servo-driven article feed.

The format range has been expanded significantly in comparison to the preceding model: length 90 - 220 mm and up to a maximum of 300 mm for large bars, width 50 - 95 mm (large bars max 150 mm), height 5 - 20 mm.

The new LTM-DUO is available in left or right hand-versions.
